LONG LIFE Filtration plays a major role in managing and supporting the impact of future emission regulations. With every major emission regulations hurdle, there have been significant challenges to engine service intervals in soot, sludge and acid increases. Our technology has enabled customers to meet these challenges better and to extend their service intervals.

For example, high pressure fuel systems require more efficient filtration for contaminants, so our media technology provides advanced fuel/water separation capabilities. The low lubricity of some ULSD fuels requires addition of lubricity additives, so we offer superior asphaltene and winter conditioners, as well as microbicide products to rid the fuel system of organisms and other contaminants.

To curtail rising soot levels, our centrifuge products effectively lower soot by 40% over the service interval, thus increasing the life of the oil. Our environmentally responsible product development includes breakthrough technology that allows us to meet the .01 PM requirements for the total engine (crankcase and exhaust PM).

Our “SHAHKAR” combo tube filters are designed to handle additional sludge and are available for all major OEMs, including Hino, Isuzu, Nissan, Caterpillar, Hitachi, John Deere, and Komatsu.
